A quick note about a Membership account vs a Retail account. Simply put, if all you want to buy is one or two bottles of essential oils every now-and-then, then a Retail account is for you. You will pay full price for your products, but there’s no membership fee. You can upgrade to a Wholesale Membership later if you wish. However, the vast majority of new members select to become Wholesale Members at sign-up, even with the start-up cost being about $165.
I’m sure you’re asking, “What? Why?!” There are amazing benefits to Wholesale Member, that’s why! Benefits include a 24% discount off all Young Living products, the ability to EARN COMMISSION to supplement your income (yes, make money!), and the option to sign up for the Essential Rewards program (more on that below). The $165 gets you over $300 worth of products, like an oils diffuser, 11 popular and extremely useful essential oils, samples for you to share with your first potential customers, and more! And don’t feel that you have to become an essential oil distributor just because you want a discount. You can have your discount and keep the oils to yourself, if you want to.

There are quite a few starter kits to choose from. We recommend selecting either the “Dewdrop Diffuser Kit” or the “Desert Mist Kit,” as these will give you the most variety as you start learning about essential oils. We will also be posting a series about projects that you can do with these kits, like skin lotions, air fresheners, and a beard oil!
We did mention that you can make money selling Young Living products, right? If that’s something that interest you, then check the box to sign up for the Essential Rewards program. Even if you don’t plan to earn a little side-income, we highly recommend checking this box anyways. There’s no additional cost to do so, and it allows you to earn points back on purchases that you can redeem for free products!
The one caveat to the Essential Rewards program is that you must order about $100 worth of product each month to maintain a current subscription. But if you’re signing up to earn income, we’ll show you how to grow your sales so that your oils pay for themselves and more! And, if at any time you cannot commit to a $100 order (we’ve been there too!), all you have to do is simply cancel your order for the month. That’s it, no fees, no hassle, no loss to you! Tell them who you are, where to ship your orders, and how you want to access your Virtual Office space for future orders. Simple enough; complete and scroll down.
My guess is that you wouldn’t mind earning extra income. So enter your SSN, read and accept the Terms and Conditions, then move on to the next page!
Select your preferred shipping method and let them know if it needs to go somewhere other than the address you already provided. This will become the default shipping method for your Essential Rewards subscription, which you can edit later if you need to. After entering your payment info, scroll down to complete the sign up process!
There it is! “Activate and Checkout” to complete your Young Living membership and to get your essential oils shipped to your door!
